Cottage. C17, extended in C20. Rendered cob or chalk with
thatched roof. Single storey and attic, two bays, extended by
large third bay to north c1950 and further extended by dining room
c1965. Original structure has large living room and narrow service
room on north, now containing entrance, a boarded door with propped
thatched canopy. Leaded timber windows.
Interior: Living room has deeply chamfered spine beam with stops,
and open fireplace with oven, the jambs now of brick. Cross
chamfered beam in entrance bay. C20 stair. Single purlin roof,
partly rebuilt.
