House. c1730. Blue vitrified brick headers with red brick
dressings to openings continuing vertically. End giant pilasters.
Slate roof. Three storeys, 5 window bays with parallel rear block
with gable stacks, of chalk faced with brick, possibly earlier than
main front. Central entrance to stair hall and flanking reception
rooms. Two bay, 2 storey extension of c1850 to right, flint with
limestone quoins. Six panelled door with floating pediment on
brackets. Twelve-paned sashes with heavy glazing bars and gauged
brick lintels with stone key blocks. Round headed sash with turned
arch on stone capitals over main entrance. Moulded brick eaves and
gable stacks. Extension has re-used sash windows and hipped roof.
Interior not seen, may be of interest but extensively renovated in
later C20.
