II
Cottage. C17. Timber framed, rendered to front, wattle and daub
infill, and thatched roof. Two storeys, 2 bays, with lateral
entrance against gable stack, living room and inner room, and
narrow service room beyond stack forming a third half bay.
Weatherboarded lean-to at left end and timber framed stair tower at
rear. Framing 3 panels high with straight corner braces. Entrance
has 6-panelled door under thatched canopy and within trellis porch.
Ground floor has triple and paired small 12-paned sashes, and C19
timber casements to first floor. Thatch drawn down over added
lean-to. Brick stack.
