Black Jane Farm House
II
Farm House 1729 (on tablet at eaves). Brown brick with slate
roof, 2 storeys, 5 bays with later additions to gables. Stone
flush quoins. Timber doorcase with architraves flanked by half
pilaster, plain frieze and moulded cornice containing half glazed
door. Sash windows with glazing bars, stone sills and skewback
heads. Three course deep brick band at first floor level. Inscribed
tablet above first floor central window with "R.S.L." and date.
Old slate roof with end stacks.
