SJ 58 NW FORMER BOROUGH OF WIDNES HIGHFIELD ROAD

Terrace, early C19, of 4 two storey brown brick cottages. Slate roof
with tiled ridge and red brick chimney stacks. Very heavy stone eaves
cornice, painted white, with modillion treatment. Stringcourse at
first floor window sill level, heavy label courses to ground and first
floor windows and door heads. Triple round headed casements with 'Y'
tracery at head, some with glazing bars removed. The original front
doors have round heads to match windows.
