Formerly the tap room to the George Hotel when a coaching inn,
now a dwelling. The original timber-framed building of four
bays is possibly late medieval and was aisled or galleried. Two
storeys with a cartway to the west. Plain tile gable roof with
two ridge stacks. North facing facade is rendered. Four first
floor hung sash windows with glazing bars, early C19 three-light
hung sash windows with glazing bars to right hand of
round-headed panelled door. Two hung sash windows with glazing
bars to west. The interior has one large inglenook hearth,
stop-chamfered ceiling beams and exposed timber frame.
