In the medieval table top tomb south east of the porch are the probable remains of the young Dukes of Suffolk. on 10/7/1551 Henry Brandon, 15 year old Duke of Suffolk, arrived at the Bishop's Palace with his 14 year old brother, Charles. By the next day they had both died of the "English Sweat". Charles outlived his brother by 20 minutes, thus becoming the shortest-lived peer on record.
