C17 timber-framed and plastered farmhouse. Hall and cross-wing
plan with early C19 painted brick, single storey bakehouse to
east, raised to two storey height later in C19. Two storeys,
with garrets in cross-wing. Side stacks to cross-wing and
bakehouse, central ridge stack to hall. Plain tile roofs. Hall
range has symmetrical facade with C19 fenestration of two first
floor, three-light, hung sash windows and two flat roofed bay
windows flanking a six-panelled door and open flat-roofed wooden
porch. Three windows in gable of cross-wing; modern casements
in bakehouse. The interior has sealed inglenook hearths and
stop-chamfered ceiling beams. C19 doors with reeded panels and
architraves. The bakehouse has a sealed cooking hearth and
baking oven. Side purlin roof with long straight braces to
cross-wing.
