Originally the manor house. C16 with C17 and later
alterations. Timber framed and plastered with continuous jetty
to street facade. (The jetty brackets with carved bases
survive.) Plain tile roofs, large central gable and pair of
small, jettied gables to north. End stack to north of gault
brick; tall ridge stack with moulded brick plinth, and square
shaft with cornice to south of main gable. Four first floor,
modern, three-light casement windows. Two modern bay windows
flank door, three-light casement window to south. Interior
altered. Exposed very fine moulded ceiling beams and joists.
Inglenook hearth.
