Late C17 L-plan house, formerly an inn, with mid C19 facade.
Timber framed with front wall cased in brick and rendered.
Right hand gable end has been rebuilt in brick in C20.
Parapetted, slate roof with cement tiles and large gault brick
ridge stack to rear range. Two storeys with plinth and moulded
main cornice. Range of three recessed hung sashes with glazing
bars in slightly projecting surrounds. One similar window and
one tripartite hung sash both with projecting key blocks on
either side of doorway with rusticated surround.
