Former yeoman's house, now terrace in 3 separate ownerships. Mid C17 with C18
additions. Roughcast with double Roman tile roof. Long 5-bay range set at
right-angles to road: C17 house in centre with left-hand C18 addition and right-
hand coach house addition. Due to sloping site, 3 storeys to road end, 2 storeys
to the remaining 2 sections. 12 and 16-pane sash fenestration with canted bay to
No. 2 and early C19 lattice work porches to Nos. I and 3. Six-panel door to
No. 1. No. 2 (former yeoman's house) has a moulded architrave to the doorframe
and early C20 studded plank door; wooden, gabled C20 porch. 3 brick stacks.
Interior. No. 2 has cross passage and 3 room plan with deeply chamfered beams
and fine plank doors. Compartmented ceiling to ground floor right-hand room now
occupied by No. 3, but extending into the staircase hall of No. 2. Later
extensions to rear.
