5/92 Turnpike Trust Parish Boundary Marker
G.V. II
Turnpike Trust Parish Boundary Marker. Dated 1823. Cast iron painted white
with raised lettering painted black. V-shaped on plan with concave sides and
rounded top; 1 metre high. Date and 'BRISTOL TURNPIKE TRUST' down centre spine,
'BURRIN'N P.H.' to left-hand and 'CHURCH'L P.H.' to right-hand. Set in rubble
stone wall to bridge over boundary brook.
