ST 56 NE DUNDRY C.P. DUNDRY LANE (north side)

2/10 The Grove

G.V. II

House. Early/mid C18, extended and reorientated early C19. Ashlar and lined
out render, slate roofs with raised coped verges, ashlar stacks. South elevation:
2 storeys, original 5 windows to left, sashes in moulded architrave, central
moulded door frame under pediment on corbels, plinth, string below plain parapet,
gabled west return has single light with hood mould in attic, further 2 storeys,
2 windows, sashes, in deeper extension to east, then single storey further wing.
North elevation: 2 storeys, 3 windows in main block plus 2 in recessed east wing,
all sashes except casement at ground left, central porch 2 plain Doric columns
carrying frieze, 6-panel door, part glazed under fanlight, flight of 4 steps to
porch, plain parapet.
