Farmhouse. Early C19 rebuilding of earlier farmhouse as part of extensive
remodelling of Fust Estate, with later alterations. Rubble with stone and
brick dressings, part rendered, concrete double Roman tiled roof, catslide to
rear, brick gable stacks. L-plan, former through passage. 2 storeys and
3 windows, all pairs of 8-pane sashes with central mullion, splayed stone head
with projecting keystone and brick sides, central plank door with triangular
hood on brackets, stone plinth and quoins. South side has ground and 1st floor
2-light casements, 2 attic windows, with ventilation louvres to left, blocked to
right, north side has ground floor C20 window, 1st floor C19 cross window, brick
flue and 2 attic windows with ventilation louvres; rear 1st floor has 2-light
casement to right and left, with 2 wooden stanchions to left, plank door in
plain frame with brick segmental head to left, 3-light casement under timber
lintel to right, catslide continues over rear wing, with 2-light casement and
door both with segmental brick head. Interior: not accessible, windows have
internal shutters at front. Marked on 1659 map of Hill plotted for Edward Fust
then Lord of The Manor.
