Courtyard of model farm buildings. Circa 1860. G. Godwin, (editor of "The
Builder), probably for the Duke of Beaufort. Rubble, freestone dressings, hipped
slate roofs. Courtyard of single storey sheds; front range has a central
transverse gable entry of 1 very tall storey, its 2 centred arch with quoins rises
above the ridge of the flanking ranges which have trefoils on either side of
buttresses decorated with sunken cusped panels. Other 3 ranges are plainer,
internal openings are simple.
