Cottages, early C19 originally ranges of mill workers cottages
with warehousing, granary and workshop at the south end.
Restored mid C20. Timber framed, weatherboarded with pantiled
and thatched roof of long straw. Red brick and grey gault brick
stacks. One storey and attics. Three original gable dormers
with horizontal sliding sashes and small panes. Four C20
casements at ground floor. The cottage to the south, originally
the warehouse and granary, is of one storey and attic and has a
hoist opening in the roof and two cat-slide dormers. A jettied
wing at the rear is also framed, weatherboarded and pantiled.
