13/63 The Firs
GV II
House, formerly a farmhouse. Early C18. Local C18 red brick,
plain tile roofs. Two storeys, five 'bays', original hall and
parlour plan with rear kitchen wing, altered in C19 for
staircase hall. Plat band and plinth, dentil brick eaves
cornice, tumbled parapet gables with end stacks. Five first
floor and four ground floor sixteen-paned hung sash windows in
cambered brick arches. Central recessed half-glazed,
four-panelled door.
