Row of cottages. C17 origin, but mainly late C18 or early C19. Possibly
timber-framed core, but otherwise brick and reed thatched roof. Original
ridge stack of two flues has rebuilt brick courses above the ridge. One
smaller ridge and end stack. One storey and attic. Two dormers to No. 93.
No. 89 has early C19 doorway with moulded architrave, raised and fielded
panelled door and narrow hood flanked by two fixed three light windows with
small panes and narrow glazing bars, the left hand window having a central
pivot light. No. 91 has similar doorway and doorcase, with panelled frieze
and narrow hood. The door is also panelled and has two small glazed upper
lights. Panelled reveals. One three fixed light window has a central
casement in segmental arch. No. 93 also has early C19 doorway in segmental
arch flanked by two three fixed light windows in segmental arches. At east
end the ghost of framing of a building now demolished and a section of a wall
plate are visible.
