Great Northern Railway Bridge Number 184

A Grade II* Listed Building in Peterborough, City of Peterborough

The GNR Bridge winter 1995

Uploader's Comments

Photo taken in 1995 after volunteers from Railworld and the Prince's Trust had spent time and energy clearing the area and restoring the river side beauty. Railworld's Chairman, Rev Richard Paten did so much to get this bridge listed - He also arranged for a local engineering company to sponsor and provide a plaque explaining the bridges history. This could be the only bridge of this age still carrying 100MPH trains
