A C16 timber-framed and plastered house with a jettied upper storey. Much
restored and altered in the C2O, Nos part of the Royal Standard Public House
2 storeys and attics. 2 window range, C20 easements (in period style),
with leaded lights. The lst storey windows are oriel bays with small tiled
gables and the ground storey has small shop windows. Roof tiled, with 2
gabled dormers.
Nos 20 to 28 (even) No 28A, Nos 9, 11 & 15 to 25 (odd) form a group.
