Formerly known as Chequers Public House.
A C18 brick building, plastered on the upper storey and painted brick on
the ground storey. Renovated in the C20. 2 storeys. 5 window range on
the 1st storey, some horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars and 6
window range on the ground storey, C20 casements with glazing bars. The
south part of the roof is tiled and the north part, originally tiled, is
now covered with corrugated iron.
