Row of three houses, built c.1840 with late C19 addition to Malvern House. Brown
brick with render to Malvern House. Low pitch roofs of slate with end and ridge
stacks. Two storeys. Roseville and Westwood each have two recessed hung sashes with
central vertical glazing bar at first floor and a doorway with pilastered doorcase and
plain entablature. Malvern House is double fronted and has two recessed hung sashes
of twelve panes each at first floor and a late C19 two storey canted bay at left
hand. Central doorway with doorcase similar to that of Roseville and Westwood.
Malvern House was the home of Samuel Smith (1802-92), the photographer.
