House. 2 C16 bays with lower C17 wing to left forming L-plan, C17
extension to rear gable, and outshots to right and in rear angle.
Timber frame with colourwashed brick infill; thatch roofs, half-
hipped over C17 bay; central chimney of thin C17 brick with
pilaster; C19 chimney of flint and brick to left. 1½ storeys, 2 bays
to front. Left bay has wooden casements with single horizontal
glazing bars, 2 to ground floor, one in thatch. Taller gabled bay
to right has 2 3-pane sashes to ground floor and a paired barred
wooden casement above. Entry in C19 flint and brick outshot with
tiled roof in rear angle. Outshot to right has slight timber
framing. Interior: C16 bays have traces of curved braces in'central
partition, altered when C17 chimney inserted; curved wind-braces,
central queen strut truss.
