Dated 1883 by Swinfen Harris. Two storey. Seven bay Victorian vernacular. Brick. Long low red brick building with extensive rear quarters. Tiled roof with crested ridge, brick chimneys. Stone heads to windows on ground floor and half-timbered gables on first floor. Left hand bay breaks forward and has a jettied gable with bargeboard, blind tracery on studs and date on 'bressumer'. This gable partly tile hung, and has a two storey, four-light bay below. Variety of dormers over main part of building. Sash windows with glazing bars in top sash, continuous moulded string at sill level. Five-panel door to left with depressed arch over it. Central glazed door flanked by pairs of windows.To right is wide entrance to rear courtyard and stables and, to right again, a tiled roofed turret and a single storey extension with a foiled gablet in roof. Wrought iron finial over square bay on south-west front. The front is covered with wisteria.
