1792. Yellow brick; slate roof behind parapet. Two storeys. Extrance front:
central splayed bay. Ground floor side windows have 3-lights and semicircular
sunk panels above. Door has similar sunk panel. Door and first floor window
above both flanked by 2-pane sash windows. First floor outer windows 3-pane
sashes. Coade stone guilloche band at first floor and cornice right around
house. Entrance front has coade stone griffin plaques inset. Garden front has
2 full height bows with one window range between and one window either side.
South side has large central splayed bay. Built for the Boswell family. To
left of house is attached a curved screen wall with arched brick panels, one
containing 6-panel gate.
