A C18 red brick house with a parapet and a dentilled brick cornice (restored).
2 storeys and attics. 3 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing
bars, in flush cased frames and gauged brick flat arches. The outer windows
are 3-light. The centre fort, of 1 window range and doorway breaks forward
slightly. A raised stucco band runs at 1st storey window sill level.
A 6-panel door with the upper panels glazed has a wood doorcase with panelled
reveals, pilasters and a modillion pediment. Roof tiled, with 2 flat
headed dormers.
No 30 with Nos 44 to 50 (even). Nos 47 to 57 (odd) The School and Clock
Tower and Nos 1 and 2 Shore Road form a group. (Nos 47 to 53 (odd) and
Nos 48 and 50 are of local interest).
