House, extended and divided to form a range of cottages. C17, altered in C19
and C20. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with handmade red clay tiles and
slate. Main range of 3 bays facing W, with 2-bay crosswing to left and internal
stack at the junction. C19 extension to right, with one axial stack and
external stack at end. C20 single-storey and 2-storey lean-to extensions to
rear. One storey with attics. Ground floor, 7 C20 casements. First floor, one
C20 casement in crosswing, and 4 more in gabled dormers. 3 C20 doors at sides
of C20 lean-to porches. Chamfered axial and transverse beams with lamb's tongue
stops. Interior mainly plastered and modernised. Recorded by RCHM as Great
Farsley Farm (31).
