House. Late C14 and C15. Timber framed, plastered with frame exposed, roofed
with handmade red plain tiles. 2-bay hall facing NW with C16 internal stack
behind ridge, and C19 external stack at left end. Late C15 crosswing to right.
One storey with attics and 2 storeys. 2:1 window range of C20 sashes and one
more in gabled dormer. 2 C19 doors. End of main beam of inserted floor exposed
externally. The hall has edge-halved and bridled scarfs in the wallplates, a
cambered tiebeam and a crownpost roof. The crosswing has an arch-braced clasped
purlin roof. Divided into 2 dwellings c.1691, re-combined in late C20.
