Terrace wall and retaining wall. Probably early C19. Coursed sandstone rubble
with ashlar dressings. Embattled retaining wall and parapet about 1.5 metres
high, with round corner turrets and bastion-shaped projections, enclose terrace
on north of Witton Castle main range.
