Yard wall forming enclosure to saddle-house (q.v.). Probably late C18 for
London Lead Company. Dry sandstone rubble. Wall about 1.5 metres high, with
oblique stone coping, forms yard c. 10 metres square in which pack-horses could
be held. Opening on west side opposite saddle house.
