Detached cottage. Dated JJS 1829. Coursed and squared sandstone plus
quoins, stone slate roof. Plain block, but with catslide roof over extension
back. Two storeys, 2-windowed, sashes without bars ground floor, 2-light
casements with bars, first floor; 6-panel fielded door with stone slab hood
on brackets. A cottage of slightly greater pretension than most on these
slopes. The Cider Mill (qv) was probably part of this property originally.
