House. Early C18 with C19 alterations. Cement rendered walls, under graduated
greenslate roof with stone chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Central gabled
stone porch has side doorway and front casement window both in painted stone
surrounds. C20 casement windows in painted stone surrounds and smaller left
ground floor fire window. Mentioned in RCHM, Westmorland, p23. Listed for
group value with Askham Hall Farmhouse, part of the barn of that property now
forming an extension to this property.
