5/88 Alwent Mill House


GV II


Mill house. Late C18 with mid C19 alterations. Roughcast sandstone rubble
with dressed quoins; pantiled roof with double course of sandstone flags at
eaves; brick stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central, partly-glazed door with
6 flush panels; four 4-pane horned sashes with tooled-and-margined lintels
and raised sills. Single-storey outshut to rear. Roof has slightly projecting
eaves and raised verge; two end stacks.
