Substantial farmhouse. Mid C18 with later alterations. Sandstone ashlar front,
coursed rubble returns and dressed sandstone rear. Graduated green slate roof;
stone stacks. 3-storey, 3-bay front has raised and chamfered quoins. Central
part-glazed 6-panel door has architrave and segmental pediment on fluted brackets.
Windows have architraves and raised sills: ground and first floors have 12-pane
sashes; second floor has 6-pane sashes. Rear has mainly C20 fenestration;
first and second floor central staircase windows with 12-pane sash, radial head
and raised surround with keystone and impost blocks. Roof of moderate pitch
has flat-coped gables with shaped kneelers; corniced end chimneys.

Low garden wall to front of house has segmental coping and two gate piers with
shaped tops.

Detached cart shed to rear and farmbuildings to left not of special interest.
