House with smithy attached to right. Early C19 with later Cl9 fenestration.
Mainly snecked sandstone with dressed alternate quoins; roofs of sandstone flags;
corniced stacks of dressed sandstone. 2-storey, 3-bay house has central, boarded
door and 6-pane sashes with tooled lintels and raised sills. Single-storey,
2-bay smithy has boarded door under segmental arch,with dressed voussoirs,to-left;
boarded window under similar though smaller arch to right. Moderately-pitched
roofs have flat-coped gables. House has two gable stacks and smithy has one gable
stack to right.
