Former farmhouse, byre and small barn. Late C18-early C19 with later alterations
and additions. Squared rubble. Slate roofs; byre has flagged eaves; barn has
stone-flagged roof. House has stone chimney stacks. Linear plan: house, with
attached byre to left, of one build; set-back barn attached to left of byre.

2-storey, 3-bay house with flush quoins to right. Central replaced, partly-
glazed door in flush tooled surround. Blank bay above doorway. Flanking
12-pane sashes have flush sills and slightly-segmental heads with flush voussoirs.
Steeply-pitched roof with stone ridge, coped grilles and shaped kneelers. End
stacks with top bands and water tables.

4-bay byre and loft with flush quoins to left. Scattered openings include 2
fixed lights and a replaced 9-pane sash to right. Steeply-pitched roof with
stone ridge, flagged eaves and a raised verge to left with reversed crowsteps.

Small barn with flush quoins to left.

Rear of house has 2-storey outshut to left and lower outshut to right. Rear of
byre has central Dutch door flanked by altered openings.

Interior: Gable end truss of byre has curved principals, halved at apex; collar
extends beyond principals to carry the purlins.

Byre and barn are included for group value.
