Entrance building fronting brewery yard, c.1830. Scored, stuccoed masonry
and Welsh slate roof. Pedimented 2-storey, 3-bay facade. Central elliptical
archway to yard has raised surround with chamfered rustication and pair of
C20 wrought-iron gates. Mid C19 canted bay window to left and blocked window
with projecting sill to right. Three 4-pane sashes with projecting sills above.
Pedimented gable has moulded copings and shaped kneelers and a circular clock
face in tympanum. Octagonal wood louvred ventilator on ridge behind pediment,
has pierced panels with Gothic details, ogee cupola and spike finial. Brewery
buildings attached to right and rear not of special interest.
