House, c.1824 for the Rev. Thomas A. Slater. Narrow hand-made red brick in
English bond, green slate roof and rebuilt brick stacks, 2 storeys, 3 bays with
stone plinth. Central 6-panel double door and radial fanlight in C20 gabled
glazed porch; 12-pane sash above has projecting sill, Flanking 2-storey shallow-
bowed bays have bowed 16-pane sashes with projecting sills. Roof has coped
gables with shaped kneelers and end chimneys. Rear has central round-arched
stair window.
Outbuildings to left return and rear not of special interest.
