EAST LULWORTH
Botany Farm House
II
Detached house - formerly a farmhouse. Late C18-early C19. Rubble stone walls,
part plastered, tiled roof with stone eaves courses. Brick end and centre stacks
with oversailing caps. Two storeys. North wall buttressed. Ground floor has six
horizontally sliding sash windows with glazing bars. First floor has one similar
window and three casements with glazing bars. Entrance in south front, in lean-to
extension. Ground floor has four horizontally sliding sash windows with glazing
bars. First floor has six similar windows. Main ground floor rooms have large open
fireplaces, one with bread oven.
Early post-Enclosure farm house.
