House. Part used as shop. Probably late C18. Rubble stone walls, slate roof
with stone eaves courses, brick stack at left end. 2 storeys. Stable door in
timber porch with segmental lead roof. Square bay shop window with glazing bars
and simple moulded cornice. First floor has 2 sashes with glazing bars. In right
end gable, a similar shop window, but with sashes with glazing bars. Also on
ground floor, one flat sash with glazing bars. 2 similar sashes on first floor.
At rear, a small single-storey outbuilding, with stone slate roof, now used as
garage. (RCHM, Monument 37. Dorset. Vol. II).
