Dated 1793. (1940 cut below this on the date stone, probably indicating date of
repairs or alterations). Purbeck Stone walls - tooled ashler - Purbeck Stone roof.
Two storeys and basement. Front entrance, at ground floor level, approached up
steps to an external landing. At the north end of the facade a stone archway under
the ground floor leads to the rear. The main entrance has a raised-panel door in a
classical surround with pediment and reeded frieze on console brackets. Two double-
hung sash windows to ground floor, with slightly canted stone lintels. First floor
has double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. A good C18 frontage.
