H-shaped building with gabled wings. C17 or earlier origin but greatly altered
in C18 and early C19. Rubble stone with dressed quoins now harled. High pitched
roof, renewed in modern tiles, with tall brick stacks. Sash windows with glazing
bars in box frames, two on ground floor tripartite. One C19 square bay. Doric
doorcase. Inside a C17 staircase with stout turned balusters square newels and a
square section handrail.
