7/25 The Yews

Detached house. Later C18, with a mid C19 extension to east. Brick walls,
in Flemish bond with vitrified headers, rendered plat band and dentil brick
cornice. Clay tile roofs with stone gable copings and level kneelers.
Brick stacks at left gable, inner coping and right gable. Two storeys. 3
windows and additional 3 windows to east. Sashes with glazing bars, rubbed
brick arches. Front door at centre, with a 6 rib-panel door, semi circular
fanlight and radiating glazing bars. Porch on wood columns with Roman Doric
capitals and entablaure. C19 addition has 2-light casements with glazing
bars and one of 3-lights to ground floor. Continuous outshut at rear.
