Former Public House, now private dwelling. Early C18, with C19
refenestration. Knapped flint and banded stone walls, rendered. Double
Roman-tile roof with stone gable copings and moulded kneelers. Rendered
stack at south gable and rebuilt C20 brick stack at north gable. Two
storeys and attics, with central gabled 2 storey porch. 3 windows, sashes
with thin glazing bars; first floor porch window has a moulded cornice
over. Front door on right hand side of porch with 6 rib panels, mid C19.
C20 wood canopy over. Rear wall has canted bay windows, casements with
glazing bars window shutters. (RCHM Dorset III, p71 below (21))
