5/33 The Bottle Inn,
Public House

Public House. Circa C18. Rubble walls, rendered and colour washed.
Thatch roof with one gable-end and one half-hipped end. One rendered
brick stack at gable-end. Two storeys. Three windows, casements with wooden
frames and glazing bars. Some old glass. Two-leaf front door right of centre.
Interior: left hand bar has large open fire-place with shallow-chamfered
jambs, stopped. Triangular head to bread oven. Large open-framed wooden
storage shelf, attached to ceiling between fireplace lintel and ceiling beam.
Eight ovolo-moulded slats. Shelf is c 10 ins deep with a hinged door, (Ham
storer). Inglenook settle.
