G.V. II
Cottage now house. C17 with C18 house added, altered C20. Flint and brick
on south, timber frame with plaster infil on north. Old tile roof gabled
on north, hipped elsewhere, pent roofed dormer, projecting flank chimneys.
L-plan, 2 framed bays on north. 2 storeys. South front: brick and flint,
brick plat band, flint plinth with brick coping course. Two 2-light and 2
single light C20 leaded casements on first floor, the window on right hand
has brick surrounds and replaces larger earlier opening, four 2-light similar
casements on ground floor, all irregular with flat brick arches and brick
dressings. C20 entrance door under tiled pent porch on plain wood brackets
to left of centre. West front:2 timber framed bays at first floor on left
with two 2-light C20 leaded casements, brick ground floor with C20 semi-
circular leaded casement bay with flat roof, C20 garden door on right. On
right of this and joined; brick and flint end wall of C18 house with large
projecting brick chimney and 2-light C20 leaded casement window on ground
floor. Interior has timber frame visible in C17 Part.
