Cottage. Late C16 with C20 extensions and alterations. Timber framed with
painted brick infill; old tile roof, half hipped and carried down over lean-
to part on west side. L-plan, 2 framed bays with gables on, north, south
and west; a C20 extension on west side in similar style with false timbering.
2 storeys. Chimney on ridge. Irregular C20 leaded casements. Entrance
front:- One bay gable to left, one bay to right with C20 entrance door
under hipped porch, a 2-light casement over, and a similar casement on
ground floor to the right. At the right hand end there is a small one
storey C20 extension with old tile hipped roof. Interior:- an inglenook
fireplace with brick arm rests and spice recesses. Beams and joists on
ground floor with chamfers and stopped ends. Frame exposed on first floor
with queen post trusses.
