Cottage, now public house. Early C17 altered late C18 and extended late
C19. Painted roughcast, old tile gabled roof. H-plan with 2 bay C19
extension on the right, triple gabled section to left, the taller outer
gables flanking a small central gable. 2 storeys. 1st floor string. 2
C19 chimneys, one on left hand ridge and one at rear, 2 C19 chimneys on ridge
at right. Sash windows with glazing bars. Entrance front:- One upper sash
window in left hand gable over coupled sashes on ground floor; the right
hand gable has one bay, and the centre gable a small upper casement over a
gabled porch with ogee headed opening and ledged door. 2 bay wing on right
set back with gablets.
