House, now shop. Early C16, altered mid C20. Timber framed encased in
brick; tiled, half hipped and gabled roof. Rectangular plan of 3 framed
bays, formerly jettied on south: large single C20 extension at rear
of no special interest. 2 storeys and attic. Brick road front with
one small flat-headed dormer to right and boxed eaves. Four 2-light C20
casements with glazing bars on first floor. Late C20 shop front on
ground floor of no special interest. Interior:- some timber frame
exposed. Joists over ground floor are chamfered with lamb's tongue
shops, and a heavy moulded beam with billet ornament on the north end.
Jowled posts on first floor and queen post roof.
