House in planned terrace. Late C18 with later alterations.
Stucco with stucco detail; dry slate roof behind balustraded
parapet with modillion cornice; brick stack on right.
Double-depth plan with reception room to front right and
entrance hall on the left.
2 storeys plus attic over basement; 3-window range. 3 original
or C19 hornless sashes with glazing bars, otherwise later
4-pane sashes, those to 1st floor within moulded architraves,
hoods on consoles to ground floor. Quoin strip on right with
alternate vermiculation. Pedimented doorway with reeded
pilasters; panelled door and reveals.
INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to be of interest.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: low plinth on basement wall surmounted by
wrought-iron railings with urn finials; steps up to doorway.
Part of a planned late Georgian street, laid out in 1773.
